Program Description: We have all heard the powerful shifts that happen when we focus on gratitude and shift our mindset to abundance.  But there is a secret to how this works, and if you are not aligning one really important feature it is not going to work. Rachel Carey is an Energy Leadership Coach and coaches leaders in business how to master this one element to make powerful shifts in their life and business.

Speaker Bio:
There is a growing demand for conscious and compassionate leaders. After 17 years of working in Human Resources and focusing on Employee Relations, Rachel Carey turned her passion for the human-first approach into a business that helps professionals take the next step to answer that call. As the Founder of Emerging LOTUS Coaching, Rachel coaches leaders to master their communication skills and find their signature style to command respect and engage their teams as confident compassionate leaders that drive results. She also partners with organizations to take a coach approach to performance management and engagement.

After being introduced to coaching through Human Resources, Rachel studied many different approaches to coaching and earned her professional coaching certification specializing in Energy Leadership from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, and later her Associate Coaching Certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She also became certified as an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner and a Job and Career Development Coach.

Rachel is active in her community as a founding member of the Crofton Professional Toastmasters in Crofton, MD. She has served on the board for the Signature Program at Arundel High School for the past 5 years and was awarded the 21st Century Education Foundation Business Partner Award in 2016 for her work there. Rachel is a Reiki Master and Mindfulness Teacher to Elementary School aged children through school and private programs. She also serves as the Professional Development Chair for the Howard County HR Society in Maryland.

When she is not shaping the leaders of tomorrow, Rachel loves spending time with her husband and two children, She has two dogs, one of which is a teenager that keeps her on her toes.
