Menu: Papa Vino’s will offer a selected menu for this event. Each meal will come with a beverage (coffee, tea, water, or fountain drink), and meal choices including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, just ask your server.

Program: With the best of intentions, you sit down to create a social media page for your business, or to add your business to the WBOM directory.  You are cruising along, creating a username/password, uploading your gorgeous headshot and logo, when WHAM – you are asked for your bio, in 100 characters or less. Freeze!  How do you convey all of the amazing services you provide, your fabulous accomplishments and experience, express your unique personality, and grab the reader’s attention in 100 characters without coming across as arrogant?  You suddenly remember it has been a while since you swept behind the refrigerator…. In this workshop, we will demystify writing a badass bio and business description. You will leave with a draft of your bio in hand and feel empowered to share your engaging, compelling, and relatable story with your target audience.  We will also explore customizing your bio for different audiences as well as writing a business description.

Speaker Information:  Linda Raven is a Radical Life Coach and the founder of Linda Raven Coaching which is built on her passion for personal development, social change, and movement.  Her approach to coaching is centered on unlearning systems of domination by putting the body at the center of our work for change – whether personally or globally. As such, she is the founder of an approach to fitness called Scrumptious Movement which invites participants to move for the sheer delight and pleasure of movement.  She enjoys skipping, dancing, somersaults, climbing, jumping, and consensual tree-hugging. Her list of previous careers reads like a pre-schooler’s what-I-want-to-be-when-I-grow-up list, including rocket scientist, farmer, social justice educator, environmental educator, and toy packager.  Her experience in writing badass bios comes from writing numerous bios for a person with an eclectic career path and a particularly challenging to articulate current profession.
